Lauren Sabawa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing Arts from Rowan University. She continued her education at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she earned her Masters in Teaching. She is dual certified in Elementary Education K-6 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities PK-12. She has over nine years experience teaching language arts and math in the New Jersey public school system as a special education teacher for grades PK-5.
Lauren has demonstrated experience in delivering differentiated instructional strategies, academic support and behavioral management. She has worked with a variety of diverse learners including those with language-based learning disabilities implementing best practices. Additionally, she is a certified Dyslexia Practitioner through Wilson Reading System. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham and possesses expertise in literacy education delivering researched based methodologies to assist students in overcoming reading difficulties.
